Once I was hooked on the idea of combining free machine embroidery and painting, I soon found myself with a house full of pictures and I wondered if there may be opportunities to sell them. This was encouraged by my family. I think they were just getting fed up of climbing over them!!. If I was to take this step seriously, the first thing to do was to come up with a name. Not as easy as you might think. I chose the name Cottonscape which reflects our beautiful landscape and, of course, the paintings are produced on calico cotton using conventional sewing cottons.
Cottonscape is run from my home in Walsall, West Midlands and you can order paintings or place commissions by emailing me |
